According to a new analysis by CoreBrand, Capital One is one of the top ten least respected companies in America. CoreBrand [1]’s findings were published by Wall Street 24/7 [2] and the well-known bank Capital One ranked number eight on the list.
According to CoreBrand, Capital One Financial Corp. was the first company to run afoul of the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), a distinction it earned when it was discovered to be misleading customers into paying for unnecessary services. CoreBrand CEO Jim Gregory admitted the credit card company has “very entertaining” advertising. Many of those commercials feature liberal loudmouth Alec Baldwin.
Baldwin has been in the news several times for assaulting paparazzi, most recently on Aug. 23 [3] in New York City. He’s also an outspoken liberal, which has led to him getting a pass from the media for using racial slurs [4]. Despite his violent outbursts against them, media types seem to love [5] Baldwin. CNN’s Piers Morgan claimed Baldwin spoke “like a president” and a New York Times reporter admitted to being “star-struck” by his presence.
Baldwin’s Twitter rants are also infamous. He called Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., an “oil whore” who should “retire to a solar-powered gay bar,” while naming Michelle Malkin as a, “world class, crypto hate thinker!” and the late Andrew Breitbart as “a festering boil on the anus of public discourse.”
Maybe Capital One could earn some respect if it didn’t rely so heavily on Baldwin?
