Kathy Griffin recently proved that she is a “D-list” comedian.
Bravo's “My Life on the D-List” star made headlines in the Huffington Post [1] and E! online [2] after telling "View" co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck to “suck it” in response to Hasselbeck's “scum” rebuke.
Even fellow “View” co-host Joy Behar, who has regularly criticized sexism in the media [3], defended Griffin, telling Hasselbeck not to take the comment seriously. “I know my daughter's not a prostitute, so it'd be funny,” Behar said. “It's just a joke.”
