Former Vice President Al Gore is at it again, pushing the eco- agenda in his latest book entitled “The Future: Six Drivers of Global Change [1].” In this installment, he defended his sale of Current TV to the terror-friendly Al Jazeera [2] network, while pushing his perpetual campaign to prevent the climate change apocalypse.
Gore’s “six drivers” include Global Economy, Instant Communication, Shifts in Power, Growth, Genetic Manipulation and Humans & the Ecosystem. From the looks of the promotional video [3], the book is a typical Al Gore “humans are killing the earth” rant. “Consumption of good has also grown beyond the capacity of the earth’s resources like water and topsoil to sustain that growth.”
According to a New York Times [4] review, in the book Al Gore defended his sale of Current TV to Al Jazeera, describing the network as “feisty and relatively independent.” It seems $500 million can even make a pro-terror “news” agency look merely “feisty.”
The book seemed fairly technology-phobic for someone with such geek cred. “Constant electronic communication has led to the emergence of a kind of ‘global mind,’ something that threatens the privacy and security of information because our movements on the internet are tracked.” He also expressed concern about “robosourcing,” or robots performing tasks that used to belong to humans.
True to form, Gore warned of the consequences of failing to heed his advice. “What do you think about when you hear the words ‘the future’? Is it a hopeful place? Is it a little scary?” Gore asked in his promotional video for the book, using a clip of oil derricks working under a red and polluted sky to illustrate what a “scary” future might look like.
Despite Al Gore’s insistence that it is an accepted scientific fact, more than 1,000 scientists are on record dissenting from the so-called "consensus" on climate change [5]. U.S. government atmospheric scientist Stanley B. Goldenberg of the Hurricane Research Division of National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has said, "It is a blatant lie put forth in the media that makes it seem there is only a fringe of scientists who don't buy into anthropogenic [manmade] global warming."
Even with the backing of elite media types, Al Jazeera hasn’t found its way onto many cable systems. And with good reason. Aside from the sheer economics against it, Al Jazeera has been a purveyor of propaganda, consistently toeing the anti-American, anti-Israel, pro-Islamist line at a time when America has been threatened by Islamic terrorists and has gone to war against them.

said in a statement [6] attempting to justify his sale of the foundering
Current TV [7].
