As I understand it, in “The Secret Millionaire” we will see millionaires go undercover, work for a week in some poorly paid job and live as the oppressed workers and economically troubled live. The millionaires will find one of the downtrodden they meet especially worthy and, revealing themselves as “secret millionaires,” will whip out their checkbooks and give the deserving individual big bundles of money. It’s sort of a privatized bailout.

Commentary MRC Business AmericanIdol Bailout DanKennedy DealorNoDeal discipline Fox freemoney handout hardword havenot HowieMandell Jeopardy lottery noBS Oprah QueenforaDay Secretmillionaire somethingfornothing survivor WheelofFortune windfall Wed, 10 Dec 2008 19:32:30 +0000 admin 29681 at https://archive2.mrc.org Politicians, Journalists Have Eyes On The Wrong Ball https://archive2.mrc.org/commentary/politicians-journalists-have-eyes-wrong-ball

By
Dan Kennedy

The news media have, for two weeks, endlessly expressed outrage at AIG’s spending several hundred thousand dollars on a sales conference held at a Phoenix resort – after getting federal bailout billions.
