If there’s one comedian who needs a laugh track, it’s Sarah Silverman – and even that might not suffice to drown out the booing.

The 43-year-old comedian Sarah Silverman recently took to social media to share a swastika she had drawn. She announced, “I doodled a bubble-lettered swastika. I shall call it ‘Holocaust High’” and then added in parentheses, “Sorry.”

Chris Matthews, who has repeatedly compared conservatives to Nazis, indignantly objected to a North Carolina state senator comparing ObamaCare to Nazism. Showing no self awareness, Matthews on Monday sneered, "Ted Cruz has a formidable challenger in the hyperbole department these days when it comes to Hitler references."

Apparently not even Chris Matthews listens to Chris Matthews. On Monday's Hardball, the liberal anchor compared the speeches at the National Rifle Association's 2013 convention to the Nazis. Three minutes later, he decried the use of Nazi comparisons. On the same program, Matthews insisted that the Republican Party has forgiven the assassination of GOP President Abraham Lincoln.

On the same night he apologized for making a horribly inappropriate comment about Hurricane Sandy, Chris Matthews on Wednesday had Bill Maher on Hardball to compare Karl Rove and Republicans to Nazis. After Matthews wondered about Rove's erroneous predictions, the liberal comic mocked, "It was a little Hitler's bunker, wasn't it? I wanted to rush in with a cyanide capsule there.

On Friday, Times reporter Jennifer Steinhauer called Fiorina's impolitic but innocuous comments a "classic campaign gaffe' that 'could haunt her throughout the campaign."
