Senator Calls for Investigation into Leaked E-mails Revealing Collusion Among Scientists
Last week more 1,000 e-mails were leaked showing that climate change alarmists had colluded to exaggerate the threat of anthropogenic global warming. Media coverage has been scattershot, but Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., noticed.
Inhofe called for an investigation into these evidence coming from the e-mails and how these scientists have altered the debate on climate change. He appeared on Washington Times Radio on Nov. 23 with Jed Babbin and Melanie Morgan and announced his intentions barring any unforeseen changes.
“On this thing, it is pretty serious,” Inhofe said. “Since Barbara Boxer is the chairman and I’m the ranking member on Environment and Public Works, if nothing happens in the next seven days, when we go back into session a week from today that would change this situation, I will call for an investigation because this thing is serious.”
The Oklahoma Republican emphasized the importance of these revelations because of the millions of dollars spent looking into this issue.
“You think about this – literally millions of dollars have been thrown away on some of this stuff they have came out with,” Inhofe said.
