Boston Herald's Film Reviewer Baffled Gore's Movie Didn't Propel Him Into Presidency

Naming his ten best movies of what he misidentified as "the first
decade of the 21st century," Boston Herald film reviewer James Verniere
on Tuesday asserted that "in terms of filmmaking that opens the world's
eyes to a worldwide problem, Al Gore trumps Michael Moore in my view."
In his list ("Closing credits: As decade fades to black, 10 films deserve kudos"), he put Gore's propagandistic and discredited movie at #7 as he expressed bafflement over how it failed to propel Gore into the White House:
7. "An Inconvenient Truth" (2006) - Rock star Al Gore takes on climate change. How did this guy not get to be president?
