Emmy Host and Glee Star Jane Lynch Mocks Tea Party as Anti-Latina

It wouldn't be an awards show in Hollywood if there weren't the typical cheap shots against conservatives and the 63rd Emmy Primetime Awards host Jane Lynch didn't disappoint as she mocked the Tea Party as anti-Latina. The star of the Fox hit show Glee, during that network's broadcast of the Emmys on Sunday, joked that her "daughter had a tea party with her little friends" where "they complained about taxes, called Obama a communist and wondered how the Latina kid got in?"

Later on in the broadcast, Lynch also went on to name check MSNBC's ultra liberal host Rachel Maddow when she listed her "gay agenda."

The following excerpts were aired during Fox's September 18 broadcast of the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards:

[8:39pm]

JANE LYNCH: You know we're raising a little girl here in Hollywood, but it's a pretty normal existence for our kids. Our kids are everywhere. Yesterday my daughter had a tea party with her little friends

and it was so cute. They complained about taxes, called Obama a communist and wondered how the Latina kid got in?

[9:00pm]

LYNCH: You know everyone was asking me if I had a gay agenda for the show, and actually I do.

(Pulls out piece of note paper)

LYNCH, READING FROM LIST: Call Rachel Maddow and find out what time spinning is. Take the pick-up in for an oil change. Nah, I'll do it myself. And there was a third thing but I must've left it in my fanny pack.
