The Worst Bias of Departing CNN Reporter Jessica Yellin
Jessica Yellin is leaving CNN
after six years at the network. Yellin was CNN's White House
correspondent for two years before moving to chief domestic affairs
correspondent.
Yellin's history of liberal student activism at Harvard certainly seeped through in her CNN reporting as she gushed over "candidate of hope" Obama while whacking Mitt Romney for sounding out of touch with women. Below is Yellin's worst bias during her time at CNN.
Can't Obama Force Congress Into a Sequester Deal?
JESSICA YELLIN: "To your question 'what could you do?' First of all,
couldn't you just have them down here and refuse to let them leave the
room until you have a deal?"
BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States: I mean Jessica, I – I am
not a dictator. I'm the President. So ultimately if Mitch McConnell or
John Boehner say we need to go to catch a plane, I can't have Secret
Service block the doorway.

Worrying That Obama Will 'Cave' to GOP on Tax Cuts

Palin's Bus Tour a 'Low Point' for the Media
"What I make of the coverage of this Palin bus tour — not the tour, but
the coverage of it — is a media low point. Chasing around someone who,
so far, is not running for President and who has been playing the kind
of 'tease the media' games that only movie stars and reality stars play,
is kind of a media low point."

Blame Palin for Gabby Giffords Shooting?
"On Twitter and Facebook, there is a lot of talk, in particular, about
Sarah Palin. As you might recall, back in March of last year, when the
health care vote was coming to the floor of the House and this was all
heating up, Palin tweeted out a message on Twitter saying 'common sense
conservatives, don't retreat - instead reload.' And she referred folks
to her Facebook page. On that Facebook page was a list of Democratic
members she was putting in crosshairs, and Gabrielle Giffords was one of
those in the crosshairs."
