MRC REPORT: HUFFINGTONS HOUSE OF HORRORS
ALEXANDRIA, VA Today the Media Research Center released an extensive review of content posted on The Huffington Post weblog since its inception two years ago. The report, Huffingtons House of Horrors, exposes an ongoing campaign of profanity, crude sexual and excretory metaphors and outright hate speech against conservatives, despite the pledge to avoid offensive content made by founder Arianna Huffington at the onset of the blog.
In light of The Huffington Posts experimental online presidential debate that will debut this week in conjunction with Yahoo! and Slate.com, MRC President Brent Bozell issued the following statement:
The Huffington Post is a celebration of character assassination, vicious personal attacks and obscene smears, stated L. Brent Bozell III, President of the Media Research Center. Liberals love to talk about conservative hate speech. There is no reputable conservative organization that compares to The Huffington Post in this department, he concluded.
