'Sharknado 3' to Star Ann Coulter as Vice President

Mark Cuban, Ann Coulter will run the ‘Sharknado 3’ government.

Washington, D.C. is about to be swimming with sharks – and Ann Coulter will be tasked with saving it.

For the upcoming “Sharknado 3,” “Shark Tank” star and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban will play the president with conservative political commentator Ann Coulter as his VP. The two will confront [1] sharks causing “mass destruction in the nation’s capital” before heading down the coastline.

The popular and campy sci-fi thriller will debut in July on Syfy, an NBC Universal-owned cable network. Directed by Anthony C. Ferrante, the “Sharknado” series stars Tara Reid and Ian Ziering.

Other guest stars to appear in the film include Bo Derek, Jerry Springer, 'N Sync's Chris Kirkpatrick and Chris Jericho.
