George Lopez: Cain 'Darker Than Obama, But Whiter on the Inside'

Lopez has a record of going after conservatives, particularly, Sarah Palin. Back in July 2011, the celebrity stated that if Palin became president, he would move to Canada. Almost a year earlier, in September 2010, Lopez went further, smearing the former Alaska governor as an "evil egomaniac that might destroy the world." He also labeled her the equivalent word for a female dog on his defunct TBS program in February of that year.

The transcript of the relevant portion of the George Lopez segment from Monday's "Fox & Friends," beginning at the 32 minutes past the 8 am Eastern hour mark:

GRETCHEN CARLSON: Let's ask somebody else a couple questions. George Lopez is here, sitting right there on the curvy couch.

GEORGE LOPEZ, COMEDIAN: It's funny, I- this is the first time I heard that he [Chris Christie] might consider running for president. They said, should Governor Christie run? I said, absolutely. We all should get in better shape. (Steve Doocey laughs off-camera)

BRIAN KILMEADE: That's it. You were thinking more health and fitness-

LOPEZ: Should he run, and should he jump in the pool? Not while I'm in there-

KILMEADE Right- (laughs)

LOPEZ: (Carlson laughs) Let me get out before he cannonballs everybody out of water. I saw that in 'Shallow Hal,' when the girl jumped in and the kid ended up in the tree- maybe the same outcome.

STEVE DOOCY: Now, George, you're not making fun of his size, are you?

LOPEZ: You know, we all need to get in better physical condition. You need a little more sun. (Doocy laughs) But the rest of us need to get better physically, so-

CARLSON: Well, I thought-

KILMEADE: I wish you would stop judging people by the color of their skin. (Carlson laughs)

LOPEZ: You know what? (unintelligible)

KILMEADE: Can we all just be equal?

LOPEZ: How about the texture of their perm? (laughs)

KILMEADE: That's good- (laughs)

CARLSON: Oh, my gosh! I'm scared now, 'cause they're being zing, zing. I'm not sure it's coming this way-

LOPEZ: By the way, this couch has diversity for the show, by the way. All right?

KILMEADE: That's it-

LOPEZ: (Carlson laughs) So you're done for the year-

KILMEADE: What do we do when you leave?

LOPEZ: You're done for the year. Herman Cain (unintelligible)- and Herman Cain- it's funny, the Republicans do know that he's darker than Barack Obama- maybe- but whiter on the inside.

KILMEADE: And they embrace him.

LOPEZ: They do. He's doing very well-

KILMEADE: He's roaring up the charts-

LOPEZ: Here is the beautiful part: everybody wants the Latino vote, and Michele Bachmann- you know, that didn't work out. But her lovely campaign was, I want the Latino vote because I raised 23 foster children. So, therefore, I know what it's like. Have 23 kids on your own, and then maybe, we'll vote for you. (Doocy laughs)

KILMEADE: So she took a short cut and you resent that.

LOPEZ: (laughs) We have them. We don't raise them. (Doocy laughs)

DOOCY: You just mentioned- you mentioned Herman Cain and he was at a- they had a Tea Party straw poll in Illinois-

LOPEZ: (laughs) He wasn't serving the tea, 'cause that's crazy.

DOOCY: No, he was (unintelligible)-

KILMEADE: He was winning the poll.

DOOCY: A lot of conservatives love him because he is very conservative. He's not a moderate.

LOPEZ: He is very conservative- absolutely. So I think he will do well. You know, Barack Obama, you know how extreme he is. I think, you know, for him- it's funny, because in America, we love when we take somebody out. You know, when Barack Obama and Bin Laden- when that happened, when he was taken out, his approval rating soared. So I think it's time to kill someone else.
